"A place to rate & follow Twitter users"

FAQ

Rate users by Tweeting us

You can @reply us to submit a rating if you'd like. Here's what you can do ... (tweet what's in between the quotes)

To rate someone you like:
"@chirpio @techstartups +" or "@chirpio @techstartups good"

To rate someone you hate:
"@chirpio @techstartups -" or "@chirpio @techstartups bad"

To flag someone as a spammer:
"@chirpio @techstartups spam"

To rate more than one user just list them out:
"@chirpio @techstartups @techcrunch @aplusk good"

Why does only a portion of my profile picture show up?

This is because Twitter didn't resize your uploaded profile pictures correctly at some point. To fix this, try reuploading your image on Twitter and give it a day or two for our site to update.

Who can I rate?

You can only rate someone you follow (friend).

Do I need an account on Chirpio to start rating my friends?

NO, Chirpio uses your Twitter credentials. If you have a Twitter account, you can start using Chirpio right away.

Is it safe to use Chirpio?

Chirpio retrieves your account information securly through OAUTH, we cannot see nor do we store your account password. For more information, see this page from Twitter http://apiwiki.twitter.com/OAuth-FAQ

On the top rated and @replies page why do all the links say "follow" even though I already follow some of those users?

We have to do it this way in order to cut down on API traffic to Twitter. If that doesn't make sense it just means we have to check Twitter if you follow each of those users and they don't let us do it too frequently. So instead we still give you the ability to follow new users and it doesn't do anything if you already follow them.

More coming soon, once we get some more questions. You can reach us on Twitter or send an email to contact(at)chirpio.com
